Cat People

Letting Crossers out for a late night bathroom break, I saw a man in our neighbor’s yard with a flashlight.

Eddie: Everything OK?
Flashman: Um, yeah. Have you seen a black and white cat?
Eddie: (examining Crosby’s mouth) Nope. Sorry.
Flashman: Hmm. She’s not been out of the house for 3 years, so I’m worried.
Eddie: Sorry – good luck, I hope you find her.
Flashman: Thanks . . . Mommmmy. Here Mommy . . . Mommmmmy!
Eddie: (WTF?) Crossers, let’s get back in the house and leave Norman Bates alone
